SCAM ALERT: Like many other domain name owners, I received a letter from a Canadian Company, calling itself the Domain Registry of America (DROA). DROA’s letter appeared to be a renewal notice and advised that my domain name was about to expire. It requested payment for “renewal” at an inflated price. It was captioned “IMPORTANT NOTICE,” warned about losing the domain name if it isn't properly renewed immediately. Fortunately, I knew this was a scam and made sure my clients were informed to disregard such a notice. The Federal Trade Commission is aware of this scam.

Major Website Redesign gains immediate recognition

After several weeks of working with editor Lynda McCann, Flying Change Webs & Graphics was pleased to launch the new and improved website for The Horse's Maine. Within 24 hours of it's launch, editor Lynda McCann was receiving emails of praise for her new look. The Horse's Maine web design project is featured on the Flying Change Webs & Graphics Before & After page.

Maine Cancer Foundation Auction Winner Announced!

During their Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in October 2007, the Maine Cancer Foundation held an on-line auction. Flying Change Webs & Graphics donated a new web design. Congratulations to Mitchell Fernie, Vintage Sign Decor, who was the high bidder.

During the month of November, I had the pleasure to work with Mitchell as we began work on his new website, featuring his wonderfully hand-crafted vintage signs. We expect to launch his new site before January 2008.

Web design donation help raise money for Schools 

Flying Change Webs & Graphics donated a web design to the Falmouth Education Foundation Fall Ball Live Auction. The donation was one of many items which helped this non-profit organization raise over $90,000!
